Social Studies is integrated across the curriculum. Some of the
topics include apples, pumpkins, family, friends, winter, eggs, the
rainforest, plants and seeds.
Students work primarily in small groups with two to three whole class
meetings per day. The schedule is divided between quiet and active
periods to accommodate the needs of young children. Activities are
developmentally appropriate for four to six year olds and include sand,
water, painting, play dough, music, cooking, writing, drama, blocks,
dramatic play, reading, math, computers, games, and puzzles.
