K-2: Students in these grades come weekly for
library class. Library standard based lessons and skills are taught
through games, songs, and projects. Children have approximately 10-15
minutes at the end of each library class to browse, borrow, and
read/look at books.
3-5: Students in these grades come either weekly or
bi-weekly for book talks, read alouds, genre work, and checkout. Through

Massachusetts Children’s Book Awards. Book Discussion Lunches will be
offered to fourth and fifth graders.
