Fourth Graders Visit MIT to Make Flashlights

Both of our 4th grade classrooms made their annual field trip to MIT to make flashlights! One component of the fourth grade science curriculum is the study of circuits and electricity. To help bring this unit to life, they travel to MIT on public transportation to make flashlights from scratch! They get to decorate the cases of their flashlights and most excitingly - soldering!
