On Thursday, May 17th we held our 3rd annual STEAM Night! STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. The night was another big hit! Thanks to parent and PTO chair Carroll Magill for spear-heading the event yet again! We had 13 hands-on activities spread out across the building led by a variety of leaders/organizations. Highlights included creating and keeping an art bot, wind tube, and Makey Makey the computer lab.
We had over 100 students who attended STEAM Night (not including adults and younger siblings). Thanks also to parent Alicia Volipicelli (parent) and her team from Lincoln Lab who ran the Art Bot, buzzing bristle bot, and rover bot room. This night would have not have been possible without the support of our Friends of Haggerty! Thanks also to parent Gordon Webster (New England Image Photography) for many of the beautiful photographs!
