Actress and historian Jan Turnquist portrays Phebe Bliss Emerson (grandmother to Ralph Waldo Emerson) and her perspective on the events leading up to April 19, 1775. Her presentation is so believable that as one third grader exited the library, he wondered aloud whether she had been alive since 1775!
