Chicks are about to hatch from eggs in all the K classes but, did you know Chicken Aren’t the Only Ones (by Ruth Heller)? In library we’ve been reading books about lots of creatures that hatch from eggs. We even made our own eggs.
In library we discuss many awards given to outstanding books. We recently learned about “The Schneider Family Book Award” which honors an author or illustrator for a book that “embodies an artistic expression of the disability experience for child and adolescent audiences.”
