STEAM Night Fun
Posted on 05/23/2017

STEAM NightOn Tuesday, May 16th we held our 2nd annual STEAM Night! STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. The night was an enormous hit! Thanks to parent and PTO chair Carroll Magill for spear-heading the event! We had 17 hands-on activities spread out across the building led by a variety of leaders/organizations.

STEAM NightHighlights included making slime (a major hit), creating and keeping an art bot, a wind tube, and Makey Makey coding in the computer lab! We had over 140 students who attended STEAM night (not including adults and younger siblings)! Thanks also to parent Alicia Volipicelli (parent) and her team from Lincoln lab who ran the Art Bot, buzzing bristlebot, and roverbot room. Kids were so excited to bring their Bots home this year! This night would not have been possible without the support of our Friends of Haggerty! Thanks also to parent Gordon Webster (New England Image Photography) for many of the photos!
