The fourth grade recently got to take an engaging field trip to the Harvard Museum of Natural History and participate in the Changing Earth program. We learned about how rocks, fossils, and landforms provide clues about the geologic history of our changing earth. Students got a hands-on experience with fossils and various specimens (such as a live horseshoe crab) that gave clues to our changing landscape. Afterwards, we got to explore the exhibits (such as the ocean specimens and animals from around the world) at the museum. Fourth graders had a wonderful time exploring the museum and can't wait to go back!
