The fourth grade recently got to take an engaging field trip to the Harvard Museum of Natural History and participate in the Changing Earth program. They learned about how rocks, fossils, and landforms provide clues about the geologic history of our changing earth. Students got hands-on experience with fossils and various specimens (such as a live horseshoe crab) that gave clues to our changing landscape. Afterwards, they explored the exhibits (such as the ocean specimens and animals from around the world) at the museum. Fourth graders had a wonderful time exploring the museum and can't wait to go back!
