Since October 2, sixteen fourth and fifth grade students have been meeting in the Library as part of our Haggerty School BookEaters Club.
Every Tuesday students meet as an group of enthusiastic readers. They spend their lunch and recess reading and eating lunch together. We have two groups: Mrs. Russell’s group is reading,
A Handful of Stars, by Cynthia Lord, and Mrs. Novogrodsky’s group is reading
The Doldrums by Nicholas Gannon. We are enjoying eating lunch and reading together. The students read to each other, discuss the books, and get to know one another!
